Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD) Testing

Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD) test in a non-invasive vascular exam that detects the quality of blood flow and any blockages in the arteries using pulse wave recordings and segmental blood pressure measurements. We provide PAD testing using the latest technology and equipment, cleared by the FDA and APMA. The patient will be asked to lie flat on their back and the technician will wrap blood pressure cuffs around their arms, ankles, calves, and above the knees, and inflate them individually. In some situations, patients may be asked to perform toe-ups for the Post Exercise part of the exam.

Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD) occurs as a result of cholesterol and plaque build-up in the arteries of the extremities, causing decreased blood flow to the legs and feet.
